American Idol and Big Brother

American Idol:

I was happy to see the top 12 guys perform tonight and for the most part they did pleasantly surprise me. My favorites are the Australian guy Michael Johns, the rocker David Cook and the guy who played guitar Jason Castro. I think they will all be forces in this game if they stick with what they are doing. I think for the bottom two it should be Luke Menard and Garrett Haley, but there are one or two others who could also fill those spots. I look forward to seeing the girls perform.

Big Brother:

This house has never been full of more drama! It seems that Parker is usually the one in the center of it, I don't know if its because he's just willing to speak his mind and not let things go or if he starts stuff too. Either way I wish he wasn't partnered with Jen because he is pretty gorgeous. I think my favorite couple in the house so far has to be Chelseia and James because they seem to truly like each other (or at least James likes her) and they both seem so easygoing and drama free. Flying under the radar like smart people should. I loved how obsessed James got about that guinea pig habitat thing even though it probably has nothing to do with anything. Its hilarious that "it all makes sense" for him now that the girls are pretending to be lesbians. I still don't really understand the reason for them doing that, but if it works for them, go with it. For all of you who have seen the youtube video of the entire house screaming at Amanda, I do feel bad for her. And although it seems sweet that Alex cares for his 'soulmate' he is getting way too jealous too fast. You aren't automatically in a relationship just because Julie Chen says you are. So far its looking very slim that any of these couples will find love. I say next time throw all the singles in the house but don't pair them together, it'll make for more romance than this. One last thing, I'm very curious to know why Neil left the house and I hope eventually they tell us, but I guess its nice for Sharon to come back since she wasn't given a fair chance with her ex being an idiot and all. Its just sad that Joshua has now lost his chance for love too. Gotta say though that I'm loving all his UT clothes! Hook 'Em!!

Brothers and Sisters

9:00- I'm excited about having another new episode this week. Thank God the writers strike is done! I'm especially excited because the previews mentioned drunken shenanigans and what is more fun than that?

9:01- "You don't want to whisk your life...ay ohhh" haha oh Justin, why are you so adorable?

9:02- What is kitty wearing?? Not a fan. Also, why is Danny Glovers voice so raspy and weird now?

9:04- Kevin looks so uncomfortable, poor Scotty has to try so hard to bring out Kevin's flamboyant side

9:05- Who wants to bet Sarah could out drink all of those men? This is the first mention of her divorce in a while, I wonder what Joe and the kids are up to..

9:06- "I get very nervous when Kitty's vague." <-- as you should...she's a schemer

9:07- This time her plan didn't go completely awry..that's exciting, yay family bonding! Especially anytime the extremely sexy Jason is involved!

9:12- On the commercial break my roommate whipped out some tarts...sweet mother of pastries do I love tarts! mm mm delicious.

9:13- Seeing the fair makes me want funnel cake....oh and hot chocolate?! I think I have nighttime munchies..

9:14- I still think of Saul as Arvin Sloane from Alias, I expect him to do something evil or mention Rambaldi at any minute. Nora is a little too pushy with the hunt for a gay outing

9:15- I never use manual on my camera...maybe I should listen to this bearded man, I do take a million pics

9:16- Paris is the most amazing place on Earth! That is where I developed my tart obsession. Tequila is also a very good time..I love this show.

9:17- I bet the place he picks is the same as before, lets hope Kevin gets drunk enough to grind with some of Scotty's friends

9:18- ooh Jason didn't know it was Isaac who outed him...the poop is about to hit the fan!

9:19- She looks adorable as a mommy :)

9:20- I wish there were more tarts still in my apartment :(

9:21- The commercial came on with the no 'H's' and I got sad b/c that messes up my name :( that is until my roommate figured out it would be eater, which "is a real word..and pretty ironic"..haha that makes me feel a whole lot better.

9:23- anytime someone has to explain porn to children, hilarity ensues

9:24- I don't think giving the kids Brandy would go over well with Robert

9:25- Is that the guy from Galaxy Quest?!?!?!

9:27- What is the date on that picture? That is going to come back into play for sho.

9:28- they've had this fight before

9:29- "liar...traitor" those are the moments that make this show great

9:30- apparently that guy isn't very grateful...

9:31- I hope Sarah becomes queen of the gays after this karaoke!

9:32- quick kevin..do some shots!

9:37- Sprint product placement much? "Are you drunk dialing me?" haha, I love it

9:39- "maybe if you get pregnant you'll get boobs." wow this girl knows how to kick her when she's down!

9:41- bahaha, what's new pussycat? could he get any more awkward? This is why he is my favorite!

9:44- he's still singing...aww poor drunkey mcdrunkenstein

9:46- I'll be shocked if he doesn't get the nomination..McAllister is one character I would love to see drunk!

9:48- I'm pretty sure there was overlap and she's just a big liar

9:50- Sarah knows what she wants, but leaving without telling her bro...no bueno

9:53- Sneaking out never works...see. Walk of shame! Now we know why trench coats are so popular- it covers everything with just the tie of a belt

9:55- "You are gonna have to leave or I'm going to kiss you"..He's very direct.. I think I like this guy!

9:57- Yay Robert! Its good to see the kids get so excited for their dad

9:58- Its about time Nora got some lovin!

9:59- He does make a very convincing politician.

Overall I think this was a really fun episode. I missed seeing Justin and Tommy, but I'm sure they will be back next week. I think drunk Walkers are where its at, always a joy to see them going crazy. No previews for next week so it looks like we'll have to wait a few weeks before we get to see more of the crazy family. I am just a girl with an addiction...a tv addiction. I watch more shows religiously than I have time for and if I don't watch it, I know everything about it anyway. My favorite show above all is Lost, even when its bad its the most amazing show on television and all the mysteries just keep me obsessed. I was inspired by the Lost blog at TMZ, I love the minute by minute accounts and I really want to do that for every show I watch. I watch some shows like, Las Vegas, Two and Half Men, the Big Bang Theory, Smallville, Moonlight, America's Next Top Model, and Flight of the Conchords, somewhat casually aka it's not dire if I miss an episode. Well that is a basic rundown on what I hope to do with this blog...enjoy!
